In summary, the design of the Lib Tech Skate Banana began with the statement "a snowboard is not a ski", and ended with no camber and a rippled sidecut. What the hell? I hear you ask, in the little imaginary conversation going on in my head. And rightly so, for this is some fairly revolutionary snowboard construction.
The Skate Banana swaps camber for rocker, transferring pressure from the rider’s body to the edge between their feet, rather than the tip and tail edges. This lets you splag out your jibbing and slash all over the show like a split banana sundae, free from the limits of edge catching. Better for that spring slush and choppy park crap, and far superior for your various anatomical presses (tail, nose, ear, etc).
